Type: Original artwork / one-of-a-kind
Medium: mineral pigments
Support: Crumpled Washi paper adorned with gold leaf
Artist: Nobuhide Makino
Rendered on crumpled washi paper and accented with gold leaf, this work depicts cherry blossoms in radiant bloom.
Unlike my Nihonga paintings built up through layers of mineral pigments, this piece has a lighter, more delicate presence, offering a fresh and graceful charm of its own.
This artwork is framed in a frame suitable for watercolor paintings and ready to display.
